Monday - On the road to Alabaster Caverns

                                                                                                 

Well... we left Monday morning at 9 a.m. in light rain...got the bus loaded and then took off. We lunched at Alabaster Caverns State Park, then did the 2 p.m. tour of the cave.

On the road for a 4 day/3 night trip to NW Oklahoma! We got there and whereas it wasn't raining, it was warm and humid! We ate lunch here at Alabaster Caverns State Park in their main picnic pavilion.

And chilled until the 2 p.m. tour. Then we lined up with a few other families to start the tour.

All of the cave is some form of Gypsum... white alabaster, and some rare black alabaster.
