5. A new thermometer was used in this section - an infrared thermometer. The rock wall was 38 degrees and the bat mat was 42 degrees.... neat trivia found out this year.

6. Long Ear Bats - (Corybnorhinus townsendii) - found in Homestead entrance of Jester cave complex.

7. We've been told a couple of times that big ears don't pack together... seems these guys haven't heard that!
