The whole thing is about 3 to 3 1/2 minutes long... then wait an hour and a half for it to happen again. So much steam it is hard to see the water gushing out... Yes Bob... you are finally here!

but if you look at the edge, the water is jetting up! Then it just fizzles out... back to just steam flowing out.... There is a trail around the geyser flats allowing you to see all kinds of formations. They all empty into this creek.

The whole plain is steaming... you can't walk though there... the ground is real thin and you could break though into boiling water or 500 degree steam vent! The whole trail is elvated from the ground. Pump Geyser.

The water rises and sinks in minute intervals... Neat colors... not so much from minerals but bacterial mats living in the steaming hot water flow. Some pools had holes that went down into the earth.
