Wind Cave & the Badlands - page 2

On Fall Break (+ 5 days) of 2012, I went with my Uncle Bob to do some bucket list items... Wind Cave, Jewel Cave, Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands, Devil's Tower, and Yellowstone... here is some pictures telling the story... Click on any photo to see an enlarged version.

and it was only the first of many pullouts along the road...	I was actually there! <grin>	I hiked over a little closer to the RV... still being dwarfed by the fields

During the drive though the Badlands, there are various pullouts to park and see different strata of the rock...	These are the yellow hills and in the background you can see the layers

The wildlife here is used to the cars rolling by... they feed right on the side of the road.

Many bands of sediment near the end of the road though the park.
