Alabaster Caverns Bat Count 2011 & WNS Study - page 2

This was a bit of a different kind of bat count for Alabaster Caverns (ABC for Alabaster Bat Count). Instead of the social event bat count...this one had more of a scientific study connected to it. Along with an accurate count, samples were taken, tempertures humidity readings, detailed pictures (and multiple of the same) of bats for further study to see if White Nose Sydrome is present in the cave. Thus below instead of a blow by blow of the trip, the pictures show as many views of groups found in the caverns (so expect multiples). A bunch were just too fuzzy or blurry to keep... partly crappy camera...mostly crappy photographer! <grin>

Each picture is kept in it's orginal 5 megapixel image to help with any details...thus...they are quite large.
