Weatherford Whiskers Kitten Shower 2025

April 12, 2025 - Weatherford Whiskers Kitten Shower Every year we have instead of a baby shower, we have a kitten shower highlighting our little ones and showing the public how kittens are bottle fed, fostered, and brought up though the system until they are old enough to be adopted and put into our building. This year we added a garage sale of cat stuff we had piled in the back. Click on any photo to see an enlarged version.

Time for the annual WW Kitten Shower!	Our yearly event shines the spotlight on our little ones.	We show the process from possible 1 day old kittens all the way though week 12 when they get fixed and brought into the center for adoption.

They are cute fuzzy furballs!	We also use it as a fundraiser and donation gathering time.	Volunteers come out and show the public how they bottle feed and clean kittens

They are pretty dang cute!	We still have our adoption rooms open with our regular cats who just take it in stride.	We typically get 1 to 3 day old cats from the Weatherford Shelter as they can't keep them as they have to be fed every 2 to 3 hours! (for 3 to 4 weeks!)

The public gets to see our normal cats along side the little ones.

We had Layla Horse Rescue come out and have some mini ponies for petting in the front yard

Cookies and punch are available.	A raffle with lots of cat stuff given away	And this year we added a garage sale of stuff we had piled in the back!

Litter boxes, carriers, toys, etc...	We'll see y'all around next year!!
