Trip to Mingo, Kansas

Sat. May 8th, Grampa Bob 14 and I took a trip up to Mingo, Kansas for a special geocaching trip! Mingo is now 20 years old and the OLDEST still active geocache in the world! There was a MEGA event in nearby Colby, KS to celebrate. Over 1,000 people were registered to be there! Along the way we got western Oklahoma counties and some Kansas counties. This was new since we found the cache (about 6 years ago) so we got it as a smiley	Nearby was a cache with over 1,100 favorite points! Had to get that one too!	This is a Travel Bug Hotel and rated 5 Bug in the offical Travel Bug Hotel network!

Next to the TB Hotel was the log book (in an approiate place) -grin-	There was also a cache in the oldest concrete jail house in Kansas.	You knew we would get in trouble sometime during the trip didn't ya?
