Alabaster Bat Count 2020

Saturday, January 25, 2020 - Time for another Alabaster Caverns State Park Bat Count. We did things a bit different this year. We did not go as a group though the caverns but instead split into two groups one starting at the entrance, though the collapse, Lower Cave, and meeting the other group which started at the exit. Mike took the entrance group and Mel led the exit group. We met up a bit after the breakdown.

Final Counts: Myotis: 16,707 Tri-colored: 138 Big Brown: 4
Total 16,849
