We were here two weeks ago... Now we came back to finish the other parts of Jester for the bat count 2020. First into Train Tunnel and right near the entrance a Tricolor (pip)

We come into this section just for this bat - a Big Ear He curls his ears next to his body while sleeping and they almost get counted as a myotis (common cave bat) A cave cricket

What is on his coat?? They look healthy... fat and no fungus on inspection Good number of pips in this tunnel

Clean face - no fungus to be seen! Nice! Ultraviolet is always cool - the skin glows aqua. If he had fungus it would light up very bright Lots of racoons running around in the dark it seems!

Dale at the waterfall. With all of the water in the cave you would think it would be roaring... but it was just barely there. Two dew covered Myotis! Just before our exit to Stovepipe
