Oklahoma Geocaching Trip - Mar. 24-25, 2019

On March 25 & 26, 2019, we (my Uncle Bob (grampa bob 14) and I ) went on a geocaching trip up to Oklahoma. Purpose was to continue our quest to get at least one cache in every Oklahoma county. Part II of our quest was getting as many virtuals and Earthcaches as we could along with the new published Star Wars art.

One of the caches where we stopped. You had to find the 450th name in the list of over 1,000 they had in the area... not easy! A virtual at Oklahoma's oldest bar! Another tank... thank goodness we found the cache (some are super small and stuck in the worst places)

At the front gate... passed this many times going to dig crystals! It wasn't open for digging and it just rained a ton the past two days so it wouldn't be good anyways to dig! Look at the water standing on the road... quicksand!!

On the observation platform. You have to walk about 0.4 miles on a wood plank to get there. Lots of sand buggies out today! Oklahoma's smallest state park Been up to the top of the bluffs here.. neat nature walk. We just got what we needed this trip and then continued on!

Did a side trip to Red Rock Canyon to get an Earthcache. Been here before... great place!! The next day we did the Star War's Art in Oklahoma. Most of the caches had star wars stuff connected to them.

This guy had an incredible collecton! We did not see many repeats on the trail and there are over 80 caches on the trail! I'm guessing he was really into it as a kid and now they were just sitting around
