Texas Challenge 2018 - Geocaching

My sister now works at the Cowtown Coliseum in the Stockyards in Ft. Worth selling group packages for the Stockyard Chapmpionship Rodeo which shows every weekend all year long. It is the longest running rodeo in the world. So we all went and got to see a rodeo... been awhile since I've been to one!!
The Texas Challenge was held in Denton and as that is pretty close both my uncle (Grampa Bob 14) and I (ddvude) went to participate in the activites.

This was a cache in the middle of a neighborhood. One entire lot is full of different kinds of chairs. It is a popular destination for Geocachers as there is a high number of favorites!

I actually get in a picture every so often! :) A lot of event geocaches were hidden around town square.

The person who was to play the mascot for Geocaching was not going to be there for the final award presentations. So I volunteered to play "Signal the Frog"! Holy cow... that was the hottest costume I have ever been in... I was beet red when I got out and sweated about 2 gallons!

I had to be escorted by Uncle Bob as you can't see squat in that thing. But it was fun! Both Bob and I finished the Texas Challenge last year and this year got our TX County Challenge shirts and got to sign the rolls for completion. I was #150 in the state to finish the challenge.
