SW Oklahoma Fishing Trip

Spent the fourth of July in the Lawton (Oklahoma) area with my friend Quincey playing our X-Box Games. But one morning we got up early and went out to a private pond and killed the bass. It was my first time I ever caught more than Q in a fishing trip! We fish from the side and usually wade up to our waist and fish. After about 4 1/2 hours we're plumb worn out... time to go back home and relax and play video games! Click on any photo to see an enlarged version.

Q gave me a new lure he saw on a fishing show.	Man...it worked really well!	I caught more bass this trip than I ever had in previous trips to this pond!

This was one of my largest ones... didn't have a scale to weight him but it was one of my biggest I have ever caught.	I could stick my fist down this mouth	I'm guessing about 24 inches long.

After catching Mr. Big I got Pee Wee Herman here	We do catch and release... don't keep any of them.	It was really weedy (that's why we wade in) and the bass are out on the edge of the weed line.

It was a good day... I caught 17 and Q only got 13. Whoo hoo!	Speaking of the old man... there he is in person!	We both enjoy the heck out of fishing but are usually pretty worn out afterwards!
