| We started our trip to a pit near Mineral Wells, TX | The pit is famous for crinoid stems (fossilized stems of plants) | Back in 1980 I had a crinoid ankle bracelet made in Camp Grady Spruce at Possium Kingdom Lake. The shores were littered with them. Wore it until it rotted in late December that year! |

| Cone flowers coming up a bit early this year. | Our main stop - Dinosaur Valley State Park | These dino's look very familar... then I read the board... they are the same ones that were in the Worlds Fair of 1964 in New York! I saw them there!! |
