COG Geoart - Oklahoma - Geocaching

Another one of those early up and go get some Geo'art up near the Oklahoma City area. This one was the Central Oklahoma Geocacher's geoart. On the way we stopped off at a few places and got some virtuals and earthcaches. Click on any photo to see an enlarged version.

Besides getting the COG art we went to the Oklahoma City Bombing site for a slew of virtuals located nearby.	Sad to say it was my first time there and was very surprised at what we found.	A very nice site... and I didn't realize it was a National Monument.

We got to talk to a lot of Park Rangers who patrol the area.

	We made a detour down to a nearby town where almost all of the Rose Rock's of Oklahoma are found.	Rose Rock is the official rock of Oklahoma.

They have quite a selection in the museum/shop there.	I actually broke down and got some stuff there. I'm a sucker for rock collections! <grin>
