Got a call from my Uncle Bob (who is my geocaching partner) asking if I would like to go see the Armed Forces Bowl Game here in Ft. Worth! Whoo hoo!! Two football games in two months!! | I met him and my cousin Kirk and his son Luke (L to R) Luke, D, Bob, Kirk | The 'tailgate party section' included a grandstand with a band and tons of booths with services or goods to be given to the veterans who come to this game. |

All the flags of the Armed Services. Half mast still in respect for the passing of President George H.W. Bush | Kirk and Luke had field passes so spent some time down there enjoying the close-up it offered. Me, I'm content to sit in our great seats! Felt like a VIP! | We had these table things in front of us and TONS of leg room. People going by you didn't have to pull aside or stand up ... lots of room! AND we were just about right there on the field! |

My panaramic picture of this enormous flag... it spread out the entire field! Wow! | A flyby of (not sure group)(blackhawk?) helecopters | L to R - Bob, Luke, Me, Kirk - Kirk has this touch with the selfie...If I did it I'd have us cut in half or no heads or something like that! |

Then the game started - Army Black Knights blew out Houston Cougars 70 to 14. We stayed the whole game. | A neat tradition for this bowl. Each group on the field is graduating from their respective school (West Point, Air Force Academy, etc...) and is being sworn into their branch of the Armed Forces at halftime. Civilian one half, Soldier next half!! | |
