Oct. 20th - Dallas Mavericks Game

I go with my brother Darren to a couple of Dallas Maverick's Games during the season. We park in Ft. Worth, ride the TRE train to American Airlines Center (where the games are) and walk about 1/2 mile to the West End District to eat somewhere (usually Olive Garden) before walking back to the game. We watch the game, walk about a football field and get on the train and go back. The ride takes about an hour but it takes that long to get out of the dang parking lot! Plus a lot cheaper to ride the train than to park the car! Makes the trips fun!

It is good for seeing the whole floor though!! Halftimes are usually bathroom runs as we tend to consume a 'few' beers but they do entertain you with something at halftime The big sky cam is where we look if there was a foul or need to see a replay... big ol' screen up there and at eye level for us! :)

This dude stacked like 10 chairs on top of each other to get up there. Of course there are all kinds of vendors at these games... these guys will take your picture for 'free' but it costs $25.00 for an over-exposed 3x5 picture... what a rip-off!
