As we visit a lot of cemeteries on our geocaching adventure, some provide a surprise....you read the plaque... | Then in Boothill Cemetery...there is a BOOT!! | We were right on the border of Mexico / Texas a lot and the Border Patrol is out in force. |

We passed two check points within about 50 miles of each other. | We were able to pass with no problem as Uncle Bob wears his Purple Heart hat and the licence plate is Purple Heart too. | The troopers/guards/watchers were very courtious... one even thanked Bob for his service. |

There are cameras EVERYWHERE... nothing is going to get by here without being put on film! | A famous general in Laredo... Bob almost got jumped there... very deep in hispanic area and rough. | Neat area for a cache... one was out on the island here. |

We were driving though very aird country... one would say desert.. then out of nowwhere ... | we hit the Nueces River... crystal clear, aqua in color and fairly cool. | Very pretty area... wanted to stop and get in the water on the 100 degree day but we had to get going to make the last tour of Caverns of Sonara 100's of miles away! |

One of the hilly areas where we parked and had to cross the road to get a cache | Always will take a picture of a Woodsman Grave... | But these coverings were wierd... oyster shells (mussles) were covering the mound(made like that) |
