Garden yields

Well... we had an incredible HOT summer this year setting records for heat etc... so the spring crops got picked before we really baked and somehow or other the peppers survived until the fall when they went crazy!!

I didn't plant a fall garden this year as the heat was just too intense!

The spring crop is done... here's the results... I ate more corn this year... made it to the 15th of June without it all drying out and turning into dry husks. Good sweet flavor! Again a good year for the Red potatos. Had the cave club (COG) here the weekend before and they helped me take care of my surplus!!

The white onions didn't come though this year... very soft and squishy but the red onions came through all right. Lettuce... man...this stuff is a weed! I did an experiment and let it grow wild and quit picking it. It grew to about 5 foot tall!! Don't eat those Meatball!! You'll pay for it (and the saying of Curosity killed the cat almost came true!) <grin> Don't think she'll sneak a pepper in the future!! :)
