We got a grant from the LPS Foundation and it allowed us to get rockets. We all got to build our own and Mr. D brough his giant collection to shoot off too! We would go to nearby Elmer Thomas Park and shoot them off. We'd have 1/2 of the class out in the field retrieving rockets while the other 1/2 shot theirs off. Then Lunch and then playing at the park along with a hike around the lake then back to school and home.
