Meet Albert! We believe Albert was abandoned. There are woods nearby along with a very busy Railroad. He has been there for about 6 months. Volunteers were feeding him waiting to find him a home. |
This was Albert's home. He was very friendly and probably someone's pet. He had a hard time eating as racoons were very aggressive and take/steal his food at night. |
Finally the volunteers found out that Duane had an opening for a friendly barn cat. They captured him (real hard - they walked up to him and scooped him up in their arms) and took him to be fixed. (See video below) Then Albert was brought out to the country. Here Albert is getting used to his new surroundings in his cage on the porch. |
Albert is now free and roaming the acreage on his new furever home! He still however comes back to the cage to eat. Guess he feels it is safer. Thanks to Vanessa for getting him and Chris for taking him and giving him a new county home. |
