Just Who is this Mr. D Guy?

• Mr. D is now retired and living in Weatherford, TX to be closer to family which lives nearby in Ft. Worth
• He is currently volunteering full time with Weatherford Whiskers and Weatherford Parker County Animal Shelter where he runs the "Barn Cat Program" where feral cats are given a new life working as rodent control in barns and ranches. He also spends lots of time with the kitties at Weatherford Whiskers - a rescue for bottle babies and injured cats.
• He was the Lawton Public Schools District Teacher Technology Trainer when he retired.
• He was the I.T. Director for LPS for 7 years.
• He has been a teacher in the Lawton Public School System for 33 years. (12 years at Howell Elementary (now closed) - Science & PE and 13 years at Woodland Hills Elementary - 5th Grade (pic) and 8 years at the Board of Education / Media & Technology Center)
• He is also one of the sixty original teachers selected in the state to be a Master Trainer for teaching technology to the teachers of Oklahoma & thus spends many of his hours after school training teachers how to use computers. (pic)

• He loves dressing up for Halloween....see his past pics here and here or for school (click here & here), or letting his classroom kids decorate his hair on the last day of school (see here).
• He studies Oklahoma Bats (the flying kind)(not baseball) and is a volunteer at the Selman Bat Cave Wildlife Management Area near Freedom, Oklahoma with the OK Dept. of Wildlife Conservation.
• He will many times drop whatever he is doing to play a board game!
• Plays online games a LOT! Mostly on his X-Box.
• He writes web pages for school, friends, his cave club and family.
